Acts 2:43 . . . And fear came upon every soul and many signs and wonders were being done through the apostles.
We are a people reliant upon the strength found in the active work of God’s Spirit in and through our lives. Apart from this, we have little to encourage each other and to offer the lost world. The great reality of the church is God! God is real, alive, and active in the world. All we are is based upon His work in His people, the church.
Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:4-5
